Browsing Market Areas

DASH has multiple ways to browse properties located in a specific market area. Entering the market area in the basic search bar, filtering by market area, map search, and setting a market area alert.

Basic Market Area Search


  1. Navigate to the DASH "Properties" tab

    To access the search, navigate to the DASH "Properties" tab.

  2. Type the name of the market area in the search bar. DASH will return all properties which match that market area.

Filtering for a Market Area


  1. Navigate to the DASH "Properties" tab

    To access the search, navigate to the DASH "Properties" tab.

  2. Drop down the "All Market" filter and select the market area(s) you want to browse.

Browse the Market Area by Map


  1. Navigate to the DASH "Properties" tab

    To access the search, navigate to the DASH "Properties" tab.

  2. Click on the map icon between the search bar and the property list.

  3. On the map, you can zoom in or out on specific areas, or drag the map in any direction to view available properties in the area. Each building icon represents a single property. Large red circles with a number in them represent a group of properties.

  4. To change Market Areas, simply drag the map to a different area.
  5. Map browsing can be used in conjunction with the Market Area or any other filter.

Setting a Market Area Alert

To receive alerts when new properties are added to a market area:

  1. Log into DASH
  2. Navigate to the DASH "Properties" tab

Method 1: Create Alert from the "Property Alerts" Tab

  1. Click on the "Property Alerts" tab of the "Properties" page.

  2. Click the "+ Add an Alert" button to create a new alert. Clicking the button brings up the alert creation sidebar.

  3. Give your alert a unique name. If the alert name is not unique, you will not be able to save the alert.

  4. Select the Market Area(s) for which you want to receive alerts.

  5. Select any other criteria you want properties to meet in order to trigger the new alert. You can include any combination of DASH's basic or advanced filters in the alert criteria. Only properties that meet ALL of the selected options will trigger the alert.

  6. Click the "Create" button to save the alert and begin receiving notifications when new properties are added to DASH's database that meet your criteria.

Method 2: Create an Alert from a Market Area Search

  1. Follow the steps above in the "Filtering for a Market Area" section of this article.
  2. After selecting a market area, click on the "Advanced" filter button in the search bar.

  3. Click "Save and Create Alert" in the sidebar to switch from the advanced filters to alert creation.
